Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – All birthdays are special, but some are more special than others. Turning 25 is one of those! So to celebrate someone’s milestone age, we indulged ourselves in a sumptuous seafood buffet dinner at Lemon Garden Cafe in Shangri-La Hotel KL.
The buffet spread offers modern Malaysian, Indian, Chinese and some International cuisines (Italian, Japanese, Western) but the highlight, of course, are the unlimited fresh seafood – crabs, oysters, salmon, prawns and more. The best part is it’s an open-kitchen café. You can ask any available chef to prepare your meal the way you want to have it.
Our verdict: Outstanding! For someone who aren’t picky eaters like us, there’s nothing to dislike. The quality and range of choices are really great (the photos though didn’t to justice on what we had as we were busy filling up our plates). From appetizers to tempting desserts, we ate everything at our heart’s content.
Dubbed as the Deep-Blue Seafood Night, the buffet is available only for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6.30pm-10.30pm. Rate starts at 188 MYR for adults, 94 MYR for kids (it was only 140 MYR when we visited but price has been increase for GST charges).
